Light up the night with Xenon130

For over 40 years Ring has been synonymous with vehicle lighting. In these 40 years, Ring has broken many boundaries. We were the first company to produce a halogen bulb that put up to 100% more light on the road. This was followed up with Xenon Ultima, the first bulb to put up to 120% more light on the road.

Today it is Xenon130 that sets the standard by putting a 130% more light on the road compared to a standard bulb. Xenon130 uses the latest advancements in filament technology. The filament has been engineered to be shorter with a tighter wound coil to produce a brighter, whiter light output.

When combined with 100% xenon gas in the glass envelope the result is up to 130% more light on the road. Xenon130 also produces a 60m longer beam pattern, allowing other road users to be seen more clearly and give you more time to react to potential hazards when you need to.

At 3700K the light output is closer to daylight, providing better reflections from road markings and signs for more comfortable and safer night driving.

Why motorists need more light on the road
In an effort to save money, many UK councils are now switching street lights off between the hours of 12am and 5.30am. According to the AA the increase in dark roads in built up areas poses a danger to motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.

The impact of this may cause drivers additional stress as they struggle to see objects, hazards and other road users clearly. Choosing Xenon130 that puts up to 130% more light on the road will give drivers greater visibility when driving at night.

Xenon130 bulbs are available in popular H4 and H7 references, which are street legal and are a simple upgrade from standard bulbs, requiring no changes to vehicle wiring. Xenon130 is the ideal option for the driver who wants more light for a brighter, more enjoyable night time driving experience.
