Top Technician Semi-Finals – the competition gets tough
The Top Technician competition held its semi-finals this weekend in Bournemouth, in the latest round of the contest to find the best mechanic in the UK.
The ten semi-finalists faced a number of tough challenges in front of the judges, to show their skills and see how well they faced difficult problems. The vehicles being worked on included a Seat Ibiza, a Vauxhall Astra, a Mercedes A Class, an MG ZS and a fire engine.
The competitors certainly had their work cut out, and the finalist will be announced shortly.
Ring is sponsoring the event, which was launched in 2002 by Aftermarket Magazine to recognise the best vehicle technicians in the UK. The finals will be held in mid-September, which will see the five chosen finalists face the toughest challenge yet.
Ring is also sponsoring Top Technician Live, which will be held in October 2016. This day-long event gives technicians the chance to learn from some of the leading businesses in the auto aftermarket. Ring will have a stand at the event and be there to meet the mechanics from around the country.
