Another Auto Express Best Buy for Ring’s 300W PowerSource Inverter

Ring’s PowerSource RINVU300 Inverter has once again triumphed in Auto Express’ product test, being awarded five stars and the coveted Best Buy Award for 2016. It originally won the Best Buy title in 2014, and has proven that it is still the best inverter on the market.

The PowerSource RINVU300 was pitted against seven other inverters, to see which could cope with high power demands as well as the versatility, usability and price. The inverters were used to charge a range of devices including an iPhone 6, Blackberry 8800, iPad 4 and an HP Pavilion laptop, as well as powering an 18V cordless drill and a 24-LED lead light. Extra points were awarded for having a USB – especially if it could charge the notoriously power-hungry Apple products.

The RINVU300 came out on top, being praised as the all-round best inverter, with a competitive price as well. “It powered everything”, says the review, with the USB able to handle the demand from the Apple products. The lightweight design and long battery connection leads were also praised. Overall, Auto Express said that “it keeps its crown, balancing performance with a great price”.
