Practical Caravan Award Win for Ring’s RTG4 Tyre Gauge

Ring’s RTG4 Digital Keyring Tyre Gauge has been announced as the winner of Practical Caravan’s tyre gauge product test, being awarded five stars and named the best product for caravaners.

The gauge was pitched against nine other tyre gauges, which were all tested on their reliability, readability and size. Being able to get a clear, accurate reading that is easy to take (wherever the gauge is positioned on the tyre) was essential for the test.

The RTG4 gauge was praised as “a pressure tester that ticked all the boxes”. The backlit display and wide choice of units were both named as being great features. However, it was the pressure gauge’s accuracy that most impressed the testers. The review concluded that the RTG4’s combined features are “some achievement” and gave it five stars.

Ring’s RTG7 Tyre Gauge was also reviewed in the test, earning a strong four stars, and being praised for being “a great all-rounder” with “loads of extras” like a built in tread depth gauge.
