Ring has won three accolades at this year’s Auto Express Product Awards, announced today in the magazine.
The Ring RTG4 Digital Tyre Gauge was named the Product Award Winner 2018 in the Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge category, following up on its Auto Express Best Buy win earlier in the year. The gauge was the best of the eight tested, which were assessed on screen quality, accuracy on both alloy and steel wheels and duration of time the readings remained on the screen.
The Ring RTG4 Digital Tyre Gauge was the winner, being praised for its “blue backlight”, which was “both attractive and handy”, its accuracy and overall, its “strong performance with a great price…beat rivals to the top spot”.
As well as the product win, the Ring RIL3600HP MAGflex Twist LED Inspection Lamp and the RW1577 Xenon150 Headlight Bulbs were both awarded Commendations for strong performances in their respective categories.
The MAGflex Twist was praised for its “wide, bright beam”, as well as its “wide range of positioning options”, and as a previous winner maintained its high score. The Xenon150 bulbs were “a top performer” in their beam tests, and overall their results were a “promising debut” for the longest last +150% brighter bulbs on the market.
