Sunday Times awards four stars to Ring’s high powered tyre inflator

The Sunday Times Driving website has reviewed Ring’s RAC830 Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator and awarded it four stars – the highest in the group.

The review assessed seven tyre inflators, looking at speed, max PSI, cost and extra features, including preset functions, LED lights and storage cases. The review also included an inflation speed test, in which the reviewers timed how long it took for each model to inflate the same tyre from 20PSI to 36PSI.
The Ring RAC830 received the highest rating in the test, earning four stars for its performance and design. The review praised its “clear digital display located on the top of the unit”, which is easy to see when in use. It was “easily the fastest…tested”, and also “the most robust”, with the sturdiness and rubber feet also cited as strong elements of the inflator. The reviewers also liked that it came with a zip-up case for tidy storage.

The review concluded that the inflator was “Best for heavy vehicles and people in a hurry”.
