Double Win for Ring at 2017 Auto Express Product Awards

Ring’s RAC635 Preset Digital Tyre Inflator has won Auto Express’ Mini Compressor Test for the third time, marking it out as the best mini air compressor on the market since 2014. The Xenon130 Performance Halogen was also recognised, receiving a Commended Award in the Headlamp Bulb test.

This is the third time the RAC635 has been reviewed by Auto Express, having previously won the Best Buy awards in 2014 and 2016. In this evaluation, the testers took speed, hose and cables lengths and storage into consideration, as well as extras such as LED lights, and having an easy to read, accurate gauge.

The RAC635 Preset Digital Tyre Inflator was once again the winner. Auto Express said that “Ring has made this test its own in recent years”, praising the “excellent RAC635” for its performance and accuracy. The review also said that “at 70cm the hose was one of the longest, making it ideal for bigger wheels, while the power lead was a useful 3.5 metres in length”. Xenon130 – 130% More Light on the Road
The Xenon130 headlamp bulb received the Commended Award, and was praised for its “consistency” and having “sharp cut-offs and an even beam pattern”.
